Man pleads guilty to torturing, killing mom’s dog

This individual needs some serious medical attention. It starts out as animal abuse, then progresses to hurting actual people, including helpless children. I wish the best to his Mother and family, and I hope he receives the treatment and/or punishment he deserves!

This is a very controversial topic! It is sad that the 2 children’s lives led them into a situation like this. To me, the Ohio law seems to be outdated. They are both very young and only 2 years apart. Even though it shouldn’t have happened, it did! And it was consensual with both parties. Now this 14 year old boy will forever be labelled a rapist, even though it was with his girlfriend and agrred upon. What a horrifying experience that will most likely haunt both these children for many years to come. My heart goes out to them and there families who have a VERY long road ahead of them.

SPRINGBORO, Ohio – A 14-year-old Ohio boy is being charged with rape after he and his 12-year-old girlfriend were caught allegedly having sex at school.

Both the boy and girl say the sex was consensual.

However, the Warren County prosecutor said the boy was charged with rape because the girl is under the age of 12, which is Ohio law.

Residents say it’s difficult to understand how this happened.

“When we were in school the teachers monitored the halls, they would come in the bathrooms, they knew where we were,” said Springboro resident Cindy Marconet. “They’re too young. When I was 12 years old I didn’t know about things that deep.”

“I know I’m older and from a different generation, but my gosh,” said resident Norma Alexander, who agrees with Marconet. “You just think your kids are raised with better morals than to go to school and have sex.”

Etan Patz: A Brief History of the ‘Missing Child’ Milk Carton Campaign

To solve this case would be the greatest way to symbolize the success of the NCMEC. I can imagine the tension from all the emotions being brought back up, the sadness and emptiness of this lingering case. Also, the hope of the never dying justice that is long overdue. Going back to the case that helped start it all. With a 92% success rate the NCEMC has used social means and create a larger awareness, such as with using the Amber alert. My heart goes out to all of the families who have had the experience of losing a child.

After 33 years, New York police have once again renewed their investigation into the disappearance of Etan Patz, the 6-year-old boy who went missing after leaving his family’s SoHo apartment to catch a bus to school. Patz’s disappearance on May 25, 1979 shook the U.S., drawing national attention to the plight of missing children and acting as a catalyst for better legislative, financial and social efforts to recover them.

A series of tragic kidnappings, including Patz’s and 29 missing and murdered children in Atlanta, Georgia, prompted Ronald Reagan to create the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children and proclaim May 25 ‘National Missing Children’s Day,’ in 1983. Patz’s father, a…
